The House Republicans’ latest effort to investigate Joe Biden’s son, Hunter for his shady foreign business dealings was just voted down by the Democrat-controlled House Oversight committee.
House Republicans, in this resolution of inquiry, had proposed that Joe Biden hand over documents relate to Hunter Biden and the Biden family’s business dealings, as well as details about their companies and investments.
The Oversight Panel ranking member, Republican Kentucky Congressman Rep. James Comer accused the Biden family of providing “access to the highest levels of government to enrich themselves” originating from multiple claims and shreds of evidence from Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop from hell. Rep. Comer suggested that an investigation was necessary given the national security implications.

“It is time for President Biden to answer some questions about his participation in his family’s business schemes with some of our most significant adversaries for years, including the Chinese Communist Party,” Rep. Comer said referring to emails sourced from Hunter Biden’s laptop that exposed his communications with a CCP-linked Chinese energy firm. In the same emails, Hunter had also mentioned sharing a 10% cut for the “big guy” that experts suggest refers to Joe Biden.
“If the Democrats vote against this resolution, then they are continuing in their coordinated effort to shield a potentially compromised President from necessary congressional oversight,” Comer said Tuesday. “We must shed light on the Biden family’s international business schemes to determine if there is a national security threat.” He added.

House Oversight Committee chairwoman and Democrat New York Congresswoman Rep. Carolyn Maloney accused the Republicans of “misplacing” priorities by targeting the Biden family. “This is a nakedly partisan effort,” she said, as the Democrats continue to find new unconstitutional routes to target President Trump every other day.
Republicans in both House of Representatives and Senate have proposed full-fledged investigations into Hunter Biden and the Biden family business dealings should GOP take the majority in Congress in the upcoming 2022 mid-term elections.
“So do you mean to tell me that Joe Biden … had no idea that his son was engaged in the sale of a cobalt mine to a Chinese company at the same time when the centerpiece of Joe Biden’s energy policy is electric cars in the United States?” Florida Congressman Rep. Byron Donalds asked on Tuesday. “That is just crazy,” he said.
