Beyond Meat COO Arrested for Biting Flesh Off Man’s Nose and Threatening to Kill Him Because of Fender Bender

COO Doug Ramsey of Beyond Meat, the “plant based meat” manufacturing company, was arrested this week following an alleged road rage incident that lead him to bite the flesh off of the nose of another man.

The 53-year-old COO was arrested over the weekend and is facing charges of terroristic threatening and third-degree battery. The incident allegedly took place near the Razorback Stadium in Arkansas after a game between the University of Arkansas and Missouri State.

According to police reports, officers were dispatched to Gate 15 following a “disturbance that had previously occurred in the Stadium Drive Parking Garage,” an officer on scene reported finding “two males with bloody faces.”

Investigations found that Ramsay was in the traffic lane and was attempting to leave when a Subaru made contact with his front passenger side tire. Ramsey allegedly raged and approached the Subaru and “punched through the back windshield of the Subaru.”

The Subaru owner seeing his property damaged got out of his vehicle and was allegedly punched repeatedly by Ramsay, the police report describes. One event led to another, Ramsey somehow then went on to bite off the flesh off the tip of the alleged victim’s nose.

A witness report revealed that Ramsey also allegedly threatened to kill the victim after biting off his nose. Following the incident, Ramsey was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail.

The Tyson Foods Website citing Ramsey’s past states that he was a member of the poultry business since 1992 and was also the president of McDonald’s global business in 2019. The website describes him as a “champion of team member safety and sits on the company’s Executive Safety Council.”

A Tyson spokesperson told KTLA that Ramsey had left the company several months ago and was named the Chief Operating Officer of Beyond Meat in December 2021.
