Following a monumental midterm victory in Georgia over Democrat challenger Marcus Flowers, Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene declared one of the first things Republicans will address if they secure the majority in the House of Representatives.
While there are many items on the agenda if Republicans win the House, Greene focused on the United States’ financial support of the Ukraine during their ongoing war with Russia.
“I want an audit of where every single penny has gone in funding to Ukraine. Everyone is ok with that, right?”

Prior to midterm elections, The Hill reported Greene saying, “The only border they care about is Ukraine, not America’s southern border. Under Republicans, not another penny will go to Ukraine. Our country comes first. They don’t care about our border or our people.”
Greene referenced the status of America’s southern border, a situation that is a growing concern among Republicans and those living in border states.
A few months ago, Vice President Kamala Harris said that the southern border is “secure.”
Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro went off on this comment saying, “Look, I don’t know how the woman gets out of bed and faces the world. She is a catastrophe.”
“Look, you know, maybe when she says the border is secure, maybe you shouldn’t have to listen to anything after that because you know it’s a lie. So it doesn’t matter whether that stops someone from hearing the other things she’s saying because you know right then and there that she’s lying,” Pirro continued.
While the White House is sending billions to support Ukraine’s defense of their border, citizens in border states are being plagued by the negatives of illegal immigrants flooding into the country.
Texas Representative Henry Cuellar, whose district includes the border town of Laredo, responded to Harris’ comments about the southern border.
“The border is not secure, with all due respect to the VP. This, look, we get thousands of people along the border, from 6,000 to 8,000 people a day. They’re releasing people, and we can send you pictures and videos of what’s happened in Del Rio, the valley, El Paso, and other places. People are coming in,” Cuellar said.
If Republicans win the House, it is very likely the GOP tries to investigate the supplementation of funds to Ukraine.
