BOOM! Elon Musk BLASTS Kamala Harris for Suggesting Race Based Relief Funds for Hurricane Ian Victims

Vice President Kamala Harris was the subject of a mass controversy last week for suggesting a “priority relief” to people of color who have suffered a devastating loss from Hurricane Ian in Florida.

“It is our lowest income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and impacted by issues that are not of their own making.” She said at the Democratic National Committee’s Women’s leadership forum on Friday.

“And so we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity, understanding not everyone starts out at the same place,” she continued.

Further adding, “And if we want people to be in an equal palace, sometimes we have to take into account those disparities and do that work.”

These outrageous comments received widespread criticisms for promoting the woke equity agenda in a serious crisis like Hurricane Ian.

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis’ former Press Secretary, and his reelection campaign’s rapid response director, Christina Pushaw responded by setting the record straight and fact-checked Harris by assuring that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance is available to anyone, regardless of race.

FEMA Director Deanne Criswell was also asked about these comments in her latest CBS News interview on Sunday.

“We’re going to support all communities,” Criswell said in response to the question. “I committed that to the governor, I commit to you right here that all Floridians are going to be able to get the help that is available to them through our programs.”

Further adding, “One of the things that I have known and I have experienced responding to other disasters is that there are people that often have a hard time accessing our programs, there’s barriers to our program.”

Billionaire entrepreneur, Elon Musk also commented on Harris’ claims saying relief  “should be according to greatest need, not race or anything else.”

Musk’s company, SpaceX also announced that it is deploying 120 large Starlink units to Southwest Florida to supply fast broadband connections to the region.
