Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs on Monday certified her very own election and declared herself the next Governor of the state amid massive controversy and an election that ran for almost more than a week.
Unfortunately for Hobbs, her Republican challenger, Kari Lake is not ready to concede the race yet and is ready to take her lawsuit “all the way to the Supreme Court” if necessary.
“We’re ready to go with what we believe to be an exceptional lawsuit. And we believe we will be victorious in that lawsuit,” Lake told Steve Bannon on Monday on his podcast. “We’ll take it all the way to the Supreme Court if we have to. We will not stop fighting,”

We will not stop fighting. Because the people of Arizona were disenfranchised." pic.twitter.com/NCqqjzlmt0

This comes after Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge John Tuchi last week sanctioned the Republican nominee and her lawyers for what he claims was a frivolous, partisan lawsuit. Lake had some harsh responses to these claims.
“This case is not about money or gain. It was essentially a public interest lawsuit seeking electoral integrity. It is very rare to sanction a party in public interest suits,” Lake spokesman Ross Trumble said in a statement. “There were five experts called by the plaintiff. One cannot be in ‘bad faith’ with that many experts supporting your theory. They could be wrong. But not bad faith.”

Maricopa County in Arizona has been in central of controversy for the past two elections and the way those were conducted. A forensic audit from the 2020 presidential election found last year thousands of discrepancies in the county. Similar questionable patterns were repeated in this year’s mid-term elections. A lot of technical problems occurred out of the blue exclusively in Republican-heavy districts.
Election results in those districts were delayed for days and surprisingly favored Democrats in all those districts. Lake and her campaign noting these discrepancies are vowing to take their lawsuit to the highest court in the land and hopefully expose the source of these unusual and reportedly targeted errors.
