On Friday, Elon Musk reinstated multiple Twitter accounts of major political figures like Kathy Griffin, Jordan Peterson, and Babylon Bee. Musk also polled his audience on whether he should reinstate Donald Trump next. The vote finished in favor of Trump, bringing the account back late Saturday night.
“Kathie Griffin, Jorden Peterson & Babylon Bee have been reinstated.”
This group all responded to their appearance: Peterson tweeted “I’m back. Thanks @elonmusk,” referencing the scene with Jack Nicholson from “The Shining” he also added a video about being canceled “Up yours, woke moralists. We’ll see who cancels who,” Peterson said.

Babylon Bee simply tweeted, “We’re back. Let that sink in.”
Griffin has not appeared on Twitter again but replied through Instagram saying, “Dear Eilon. You f**ked up, fool. I’m going downstairs to my basement of heads. You’re up. Xxoo, The Beheader.”
The reinstatements Musk made were indicative of the Free Speech platform his supporters expected, and many now conclude the Former President will follow. But Elon was quick to slow down those rumors, backtracking his free speech absolutism beliefs.

The Tesla billionaire still added fuel to the fire when he tweeted a poll, gauging the public’s perspective on whether Trump should return. Of his 117 million followers, 13 million have responded to the poll.

The race was close with 52% of respondents saying Trump should be back on the platform. Musk hinted this swayed his opinion on the issue, responding “Vox Populi, Vox Dei”. This translates to “The Voice of the people is the voice of God” as if this poll will bring back the Republican leader.
