Hunter Biden has been a major topic of discussion as of late with the ongoing revelation of suspicious information found on his personal laptop discovered through a probe into the President’s son.
When allegations of the laptop originally came to light many media organizations turned their back on it or simply denied the claims’ legitimacy, but now the tide is turning as reputable organizations are reporting on the ongoing investigation of Hunter Biden.
During an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, Ohio Republican Representative Jim Jordan spoke about the media shift in the reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop investigation suggesting that “something is up.”
Jordan believes the increase in reporting is an indication that Hunter Biden will face indictment by federal officials.
“You mentioned those two stories from the Washington Post 10 days ago,” Jordan told Bartiromo.
“I understand they were four minutes apart. One was at 11:00. One was at 11:04. So two eight-page-long stories four minutes apart from the news organization that said 18 months ago there was no story here, this was Russian disinformation,” the Ohio Rep. continued.
“Remember, it started off as, ‘Oh, it wasn’t his laptop.’ Then it was, ‘Well, it was his laptop, but it was Russian disinformation.’ Now it’s, ‘No, it wasn’t Russian disinformation, but Joe had nothing to do with it,’” Jordan added.
“And now, finally, it is, ‘Well, Joe had something to do with it, but he really didn’t do anything wrong.’ In fact, that’s what his chief of staff, Ron Klain, told us last Sunday on the Sunday shows.”
“It sure looks like Joe Biden was involved. So, my, how this story has changed. And now, we find out these text messages and emails that link the entire family, not just Hunter and Joe and — but also uncle, the — Joe’s brother, James Biden, is involved in this as well,” concluded Jordan.
A Republican led resolution seeking Biden family business documents related to business dealings in Ukraine, Russia and China was recently voted on by a House committee and rejected in a 23-19 vote.
California Republican Darrell Issa issued a statement to the “John Solomon Reports” courtesy of Just the News, detailing a plan to investigate why the Hunter Biden story was suppressed prior to the 2020 Presidential election.
“What I can’t live with is the fact that when the New York Post, one of the oldest print newspapers in the country, founded in 1801, comes out with credible evidence, which they can show how they got it, what their sources were — there were no hidden sources on this — they not only got shut down by … Facebook and Twitter but they got shut down by the New York Times, by public broadcasting, by virtually everyone,” said the California Republican.
