‘Don’t Listen to This Evil Woman’; Catholic Bishop SLAMS Hillary Clinton for Comparing Pro-Life Believers to the Taliban

On Thursday, Hillary Clinton joined PBS’s Amanpour and Company to get her opinion on the world political landscape. After making comments on American pro-life supporters, a Texas Catholic bishop clapped back at the former Presidential nominee.

Clinton juxtaposed the war conditions of citizens all over the globe with women’s healthcare in America to the shock of everyone who listened.

“We have come a long way on so many fronts but we are also in a period of time where there is a lot of pushback and much of the progress that has been taken for granted by too many people is under attack: literally under attack in places like Iran or Afghanistan or Ukraine — where rape is a tactic of war — or under attack by political and cultural forces in a country like our own when it comes to women’s healthcare and bodily autonomy,” Clinton said.

“It’s so shocking to think that in any way we’re related to poor Afghanistan and Sudan, but as an advanced economy as we allegedly are, on this measure, we unfortunately are rightly put with them.”

“This struggle is between autocracy and democracy from our country to places we can’t even believe we’re being compared to,” she added.

On Friday, Bishop Joseph Strickland of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas was compelled to respond to these statements on Twitter saying, “Please, please don’t listen to this evil woman. Her lies and immorality need to be silenced for the good of humanity.”

This issue of women’s right to choose has been a focus for Clinton in recent interviews, last week she spoke with the 19th.

“I really, truly believe that when women are denied their basic rights anywhere, it gives heart to those who want to take away rights somewhere else,” Clinton said in the interview.

Clinton is representative of the group of large liberal single-issue voters who focus on how their lawmakers perceive Roe v Wade. The overturn of that court decision in June of this year may have had a major effect on the midterm election results.
