‘TWITTER FILES RELEASED!’; Shocking Details of Twitter Censorship Uncovered as Elon Musk Released First Edition of Twitter Files

Twitter engaged in politically motivated censorship at the direction of the Joe Biden campaign. The first set of documents released yesterday by independent journalist, Matt Taibbi prove that Twitter engaged in a systemic violation of the first amendment to an extent, never seen before in modern U.S. history.

The Documents reveal officials at the Democratic National Committee directing Twitter executives to engage in unconstitutional censorship in the weeks leading up to the 2020 presidential election. Officials in the Biden campaign routinely directed Twitter to censor posts critical of Joe Biden days before the election.

Many conservatives suspected and accused Twitter of engaging in biased and politically motivated censorship but Twitter at the time, denied these accusations, and the mainstream media agreed with its explanation and accused the conservatives of “spreading disinformation” thanks to these internal documents released yesterday, it is now proven that Twitter did indeed engage in biased censorship and helped promote the Democratic Party narrative and helped Joe Biden win the 2020 election.

The internal emails reveal that the Twitter executives at the highest levels were doubtful that the New York Post reporting was not sourced from “hacked files” but they kept preventing anyone from sharing the report based on unverified “hacked” claims

“— one former employee characterized the decision. “Hacking was the excuse, but within a few hours, pretty much everyone realized that wasn’t going to hold. But no one had the guts to reverse it.” Taibbi reported.

“The policy basis is hacked materials – though, as discussed, this is an emerging situation where the facts remain unclear. Given the SEVERE risks here and lessons of 2016, we’re erring on the side of including a warning and preventing this content from being amplified.” Wrote the company’s former Head of Trust & Safety, Yoel Roth in an internal discussion citing the justification of censorship.

At the same time, Twitter was making its decision to censor the New York Post bombshell, Carl Szabo, a consultant at the political research firm NetChoice had conducted an informal poll amongst members of congress and reported to Twitter that Democrats in congress have concluded that “THE FIRST AMENDMENT ISN’T ABSOLUTE” and the officials were encouraging further censorship from Twitter on stories critical of Joe Biden.

The Democrats agreed: social media needs to moderate more because they’re corrupting democracy and making all “truth” relative. When pushed on how the government might insist on that, consistent with the First Amendment, they demurred: “the First amendment isn’t absolute.’ Taibbi reported on the conversation between Szabo and a senior Twitter executive, Lauren Culbertson.

Taibbi further reported that some Twitter employees were concerned about the censorship that the company was engaging in. “Can we truthfully claim that this is part of the policy?” Asked Former VP of Global Comms Brandon Boorman in an internal email. To which, Twitter’s then deputy general counsel, Jim Baker, who is also the former FBI general counsel involved in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax in 2017 responded, “Caution is warranted” and green lit the censorship that the company was engaging in.

This first edition of THE TWITTER FILES does not reveal any smoking gun that everyone was hoping for. But it does expose and verify what many conservatives were accusing Twitter of. These files just reveal the tremendous corruption that was going on at the highest level of the Twitter corporation and leave you to believe what kind of discussions were going on at other companies that mirrored similar censorship strategies as Twitter. That would include Facebook, other top mainstream media outlets, and the former heads of U.S. Intelligence Agencies. What kind of discussions was the Biden campaign having with those institutions?
