Illegal Immigration Supporting New York Mayor Reaches ‘Breaking Point’ with Busses of Migrants Coming to City

On Wednesday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said that the city is at a “breaking point” with Texas migrants being bussed in the thousands by Governor Abbott overwhelming the unprepared city.

“In the last few months, we have experienced an unprecedented surge of asylum seekers arriving from the southern border,” Adams said.

New York City Hall says that “nearly 11,000” people have been transported from the southern border throughout the summer. The unexpected flood of illegals was placed in the city’s sparse homeless shelter system.

“In this new and unforeseen reality, where we expect thousands more to arrive every week going forward, the city’s system is nearing its breaking point. As a result, the city’s prior practices, which never contemplated the bussing of thousands of people into New York City, must be reassessed,” Adams continued.

“Since May, this administration, on its own, has safely and efficiently provided shelter, health care, education, and a host of other services to more than 11,000 people predominantly from Central and South America who are seeking a better life.”

“While some may want to use these extraordinary circumstances as an opportunity to play an unproductive game of gotcha, we remain focused on supporting each of these individuals and families who need our city’s help,” the mayor concluded.

“While we understand and appreciate the demands that the City faces, the law is clear: Anyone in need of shelter, including asylum seekers, is entitled to such in New York City,” Coalition for the Homeless and the administration of then-Mayor Ed Koch said in a statement. “This principle has been settled for decades, and is not subject to unilateral tinkering by a new administration.”

“They all are concerned about a few dozen or a few hundred migrants coming to their town,” Gov. Abbott told Fox News. “We get that many per hour in almost every community across the border. So we’re dealing with this all the time.”

News is continually breaking across the country as southern GOP Governors continue to transport migrants to northern cities to bring attention to the crisis they are dealing with at the border.

Headlines across the country are astounding!

“Ron DeSantis ships 2 planes of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.”

“2 migrant buses arrive outside Vice President Kamala Harris’ Naval Observatory residence in DC.”

“Migrants in Chicago: Governor declares a disaster, calls up Guard.”

As Joe Biden’s weak border policies continue to plague the south more transportations are to come.
