The state of the southern border has been a hot button topic for far too long now as the Biden administration continues to fail in its security.
A record number of illegal immigrants have entered the country and with it large amounts of serious drugs, yet nothing is being done about it.
Fox News host and personality Judge Jeanine Pirro recently went off on President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for their handling of the southern border, responding to VP Harris’ remarks from last month where she said the southern border is “secure.”

“Look, I don’t know how the woman gets out of bed and faces the world. She is a catastrophe.”
“Look, you know, maybe when she says the border is secure, maybe you shouldn’t have to listen to anything after that because you know it’s a lie. So it doesn’t matter whether that stops someone from hearing the other things she’s saying because you know right then and there that she’s lying,” Pirro said.
“And then she says, ‘I love Joe Biden,’” a contradictory statement from Harris being that she made many divisive comments about Biden when they faced off in the Democratic presidential primary.
“She said, ‘Having been vice president, he knows what the job involves.’ She’s basically selling herself to you saying because he was vice president, he could be a good president, so I could be a good president, too — but everybody knows Joe’s a disaster and you’re a disaster, too!” Pirro declared.
While VP Harris claims the border is “secure,” Texas Representative Henry Cuellar whose district includes the border town of Laredo, responded to her comments saying what it is really like in the place that faces the problems of illegal immigration.
“The border is not secure, with all due respect to the VP. This, look, we get thousands of people along the border, from 6,000 to 8,000 people a day. They’re releasing people, and we can send you pictures and videos of what’s happened in Del Rio, the valley, El Paso, and other places. People are coming in.
“We have 1.7 million people that were encountered last year. We’re going to have 2 or maybe 2.2 million by the end of this fiscal year in about two more weeks. That’s almost 4 million people. That doesn’t even include the getaways. Getaways are the people that border patrol has a good idea that evaded them. So you’re talking about almost 4 plus, maybe 4.4 million individuals in two years. If you call that ‘secure,’ I don’t know what ‘secure’ is,” Cuellar concluded.
Democratic Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar urged Pres. Biden to step up enforcement of immigration laws as Republican governors this week transported migrants to Democratic-run cities.
