Joe Rogan Predicts Coming Red Wave is ‘Going to be Like the Elevator Doors in The Shining’ as Democrats are ‘Making Republicans’

On Saturday, Joe Rogan spoke with comedian Bridget Phetasy about the upcoming midterm elections and predicted a “Red Wave” and claimed liberals are “making Republicans” with their rhetoric and messaging.

On his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” the UFC commentator exclaimed “The red wave that’s coming is going to be like the elevator doors in The Shining.”

“That’s what I think. I think people are just like, ‘what the f*ck are you saying?’”

“They’re making Republicans,” he added.

Phetasy joined into Rogan’s perspective with an anecdote from her family saying, “I don’t know how they’re doing it. I had a family member who is a boomer and a die-hard liberal, and they told me when I was home this summer that they would vote for DeSantis.”

“And I’m like, how did you lose this person? How did you lose this person? This is a like go to the ballot and vote blue no matter what and you’ve lost even the boomers,” Phetasy said.

This discussion came after the pair talked about people’s fear of challenging liberals on gender politics. The two mutually agreed that people are afraid to come out against saying that boys and girls are different but they will vote the way they truly feel.

The midterms polling is constantly fluctuating as new issues cause voters to respond to polls in a certain way. Months ago as gas prices and inflation hit an all-time high, Republicans were projected to blow this election out of the water.

As new issues unfolded such as the Roe v. Wade repeal and the January 6th committee, Democrats grew to even in many polls. These issues have somewhat left the limelight as Republicans continue to grow their polling lead.

Recent numbers suggest the Republicans will take a commanding lead in the House and there will be a tight battle in the Senate that should edge red.
