Republicans have wanted to see the end of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s reign for years now and the upcoming November midterm elections may finally grant the wishes of the GOP
During an appearance in Phoenix, Arizona Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis made an amazing speech in which he made a promise that Nancy Pelosi’s time in office is coming to an end based on trends in the politisphere.
The Florida Governor began his speech fueling the fire that the GOP has been burning since Joe Biden’s inauguration saying,“We’re gonna be fighting back against lockdown politicians all over this country who ruined people’s lives. We’re gonna be fighting back against a failed Congress which will result in the retirement of Nancy Pelosi.”
DeSantis’ speech covered far more than ridding the Capitol of House Speaker Pelosi. He focused on the FBI who have been a major topic of controversy as of late due to the ridiculous raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence. An action that has prompted many from both parties to question the true motive of the raid and the Department of Justice’s involvement as well.
“These agencies have now been weaponized to be used against people that the government doesn’t like. And you look at the raid and Mar-a-Lago, and I’m trying to remember, maybe someone here can remind me about when they did a search warrant at Hillary’s house in Chappaqua when she had a rogue server and she was laundering classified information. They’re enforcing the law based on who they like and who they don’t like. That is not a republic, maybe it’s a banana republic when that happens,” said DeSantis.
DeSantis then called on his party to ensure real change if a November victory occurs saying, “What I hope we see if Republicans take majorities is use the power that you have under the Constitution to bring accountability to a bureaucracy that’s totally off the rails.”
Hopes are high for the GOP as midterm elections approach and although the Democrat party has made attempts to deter the red wave, it is stronger than ever before and looking to sweep across the country.
