“The News is a Lie, and the Bible is the Truth”; Kari Lake Says Faith Got Her Through Being Canceled

On Saturday, the leading Republican candidate for Governor in Arizona, Kari Lake, emphasized her faith, as detractors claim she is a Buddhist or a “Christian nationalist.” On Glenn Beck’s Podcast, Lake made the resounding statement, “the news is a lie, and the Bible is the truth.”

The topic began with Lake explaining the struggles she went through in 2019 as a video of her on tv was exposed and led to her subsequent “canceling.”

“I got canceled in 2019. I got canceled really hard because of a live mic situation that somehow got let out,” Kari told Glenn. “Looking back at the live mic situation, I think it’s kind of funny. You’ll have to Google it. I won’t say what I said on here, Glenn. I don’t want to get you canceled, but what I said was the truth, the unabashed truth, and I got canceled.”

Lake went on to explain the tribulations that came from the video’s leak and the mental struggles of losing a job in that fashion. Finally explaining that her faith was the trailblazing factor to get her through the situation.

“All of a sudden, my supporters just started coming, and I guess they overwhelmed the TV station with phone calls and emails. They started showing me love and support, and I said to God, ‘thank you. You did that.'”

Kari explained how she laughs at being canceled now and explains “the news is a lie, and the Bible is the truth.”

Lake continues to make headlines in the last week culminating in her being mocked on “Saturday Night Live”. Lakes’ character on SNL said winning because she “just clicked with many of the wonderful, terrified elderly people here in Arizona, the Florida of the West.”

The Arizona Republican also took on the NFL in a harsh challenge to the football giant. In response to a potential threat from the NFL, Lake responded by saying “I don’t answer to the NFL, I answer to the people of Arizona.”

This challenge was preceded by Lakes’ claim that she plans to attack the flood of fentanyl entering her state from the southern border. She outlined her plan to issue a “Declaration of Invasion” against Mexico and the threat emanating from immigrants and drugs crossing the border.
