During the pandemic many people were let go from their jobs and others were forced to work their jobs remotely. As a result of this, people have gotten used to working from home and therefore causing employers that require physical presence to work to be at a loss for labor.
Co-founder of Home Depot, Bernie Marcus, recently tore into this truth in an interview with the Financial Times.
“I’m worried about capitalism,” Marcus began. “Capitalism is the basis of Home Depot [and] millions of people have earned this success and had success. I’m talking manufacturers, vendors and distributors and people that work for us [who have been] able to enrich themselves by the journey of Home Depot. That’s the success. That’s why capitalism works.”
Marcus continued saying “nobody works. Nobody gives a damn. ‘Just give it to me. Send me money. I don’t want to work — I’m too lazy, I’m too fat, I’m too stupid.’”

While these comments are likely to bring a fire on Marcus from the “woke” mob, the Home Depot co-founder says he isn’t worried about the backlash.
“We used to have free speech here. We don’t have it. The woke people have taken over the world,” Marcus said. “You know, I imagine today they can’t attack me. I’m 93. Who gives a crap about Bernie Marcus?”
Along with criticizing those who won’t work, Marcus called out President Biden calling him ‘the worst President in the History of this country’. In the meantime, President Joe Biden is on vacation in St. Croix in the U.S Virgin Islands.
