YIKES! January 6th Committee Turns On Liz Cheney; Over 15 Staffers Accuse the RINO of Targeting Trump With Final Report

The January 6th Committee’s final report will be released soon and while the events that are being investigated included many different individual parties, the report is expected to focus on former President Donald Trump.

The J6 Committee is made up heavily of Democrats and although Trump is the biggest enemy of the left, The Washington Post reported at least 15 of the committee’s staffers accusing Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of forcing the report to target Trump at the expense of information that could be more important.

Liz Cheney has long been a critic of the 45th President of the United States so it is no surprise these allegations are coming out, but the deeper motives behind the action is interesting.

The Post reported a quote from a former staffer who said that the changes Cheney is allegedly making are interrupting the importance of this investigation and may be motivated by Cheney’s future political endeavors.

“We all came from prestigious jobs, dropping what we were doing because we were told this would be an important fact-finding investigation that would inform the public. But when [the committee] became a Cheney 2024 campaign, many of us became discouraged,” the former staffer told The Washington Post.

Cheney recently lost her position as a Wyoming Rep. to Trump-backed Harriet Hageman and while it would be understandable for her to resent the former President, it gives no grounds to focus the J6 investigation on him.

Cheney’s office has pushed back against these claims and one of her spokesmen, Jeremy Adler, recently said “Donald Trump is the first president in American history to attempt to overturn an election and prevent the peaceful transfer of power. So, damn right, Liz is ‘prioritizing’ understanding what he did and how he did it and ensuring it never happens again.”

Adler continued saying “Some staff have submitted subpar material for the report that reflects long-held liberal biases about federal law enforcement, Republicans, and sociological issues outside the scope of the Select Committee’s work. She won’t sign onto any ‘narrative’ that suggests Republicans are inherently racist or smears men and women in law enforcement, or suggests every American who believes God has blessed America is a white supremacist.”

As the January 6th Committee report continues being compiled the public’s anticipation grows to understand what exactly happened following the 2020 presidential election.
