After intentionally wrecking an opponent during a race, Bubba Wallace is receiving serious blowback from the media and some are even calling for his largest sponsor, McDonalds, to retract their sponsorship.
TBH, .@McDonald’s needs to choose another representative to carry the brand
Attacking one of the only Asian drivers in NASCAR is not a good look. Neither is putting your hand on an official

Raging Americans reported that “The incident occurred during a race in Las Vegas where Wallace intentionally clipped the reigning champion Kyle Larson’s car, causing both drivers to spin out. Following the wreck Wallace, who was noticeably irate, exited his vehicle and approached Larson then started shoving him. Larson refrained from retaliation and later said that he understood why Wallace was so upset, as Larson made a very aggressive maneuver on Wallace earlier in the race.”

Wallace was suspended for this heinous act and Yahoo Sports reported NASCAR’s move to suspend the reckless driver saying, “Wallace is the first NASCAR driver suspended for a race since Matt Kenseth in 2015, who got two races for intentionally crashing Joey Logano at Martinsville in retaliation for an incident weeks earlier. In its penalty report announcing Wallace’s punishment, NASCAR cited the rule that gives it discretion to penalize drivers who ‘intentionally wreck or spin another vehicle, whether or not that vehicle is removed from competition as a result.’”
In his return to the asphalt, Bubba Wallace received astounding boos from the crowd.
Most boos in driver intros: Bubba Wallace, and it wasn’t very close (way more than Kyle Busch and Ty Gibbs). pic.twitter.com/wti0kneWC1

This isn’t the first time Wallace has acted egregiously during a NASCAR event. In the past he aggressively threw a cup of water in the face of fellow driver Alex Bowman, who was attempting to recover from heat exhaustion.
