Nancy Pelosi’s January 6th Select Committee held a “surprise hearing” and brought in Cassidy Hutchinson as the witness who is a former top aide to Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
Hutchinson testified under oath that President Trump physically attacked his own Secret Service agents when they refused to take him to the U.S. Capitol. “When the President got in The Beast [the Presidential limo] he was under the impression” that he would be visiting the Capitol building. When President Trump spoke on January 6, he famously told his supporters that he is planning to march “peacefully and patriotically” with them to the Capitol.
According to Hutchinson, when Secret Service told him the Capitol wasn’t secured for him, President Trump became irate and lunged forward to “grab at the steering wheel.”
“Mr. Trump then used his free hand to lunge towards Bobby Engel” [the lead Secret Service agent]. Hutchinson motioned towards her neck, indicating Trump choked Engel.
Soon after this testimony, two secret service agents came forward and offered to testify before the committee that President Trump never lunge at the steering wheel or assault them in any form.
You know the story is immediately debunked when the top fans of the January 6th trial, NBC News, are being critical of Hutchinson’s testimony. The network’s chief White House correspondent, Peter Alexander tweeted, “A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.”
Hutchinson claims Anthony Ornato, a senior Secret Service official who was detailed to the White House and served as deputy chief of operations, told her about this incident.
Even CNN correspondents are now detailing Secret Service agents who are willing to debunk this fraud claim. Shimon Prokupecz from CNN tweeted “a Secret Service official familiar with the matter told CNN that Tony Ornato denies telling Cassidy Hutchinson that the former president grabbed the steering wheel or an agent on his detail.”

Immediately after this testimony, President Trump debunked Hutchinson’s claims on Truth Social by posting: “Fake story that I tried to grab the steering wheel of the White House Limousine in order to steer it to the Capitol Building is ‘sick’ and fraudulent, very much like the Unselect Committee itself – Wouldn’t even have been possible to do such a ridiculous thing. her story of me throwing food is also false…and why would SHE has to clean it up, I hardly knew who she was?”
Moreover, her claims can be immediately debunked by the fact that President Trump never traveled in the BEAST on Jan. 6th. He used the Presidential SUV to travel after his speech.

If this wasn’t embarrassing enough, according to President Trump and various other records, Cassidy Hutchinson applied to work for the former President in Florida after he left office! President Trump denied her request. So, despite this traumatic experience she claimed to witness, she still wanted to work for him. Makes so much sense.
