Joe Biden has been frequently visiting his home state of Delaware lately and all these frequent trips come at an expense of American taxpayers who have paid at least $11 million since the start of his Presidency.

In his 57 trips to Delaware since taking office, he has spent at least 185 days away from the office, at his private residence.

Biden has made 57 trips to Delaware, spanning all or part of 185 days, according to data from former CBS correspondent Mark Knoller. The trip costs are mostly divided with the use of Air Force One, Marine One, and the security detail cost for the Secret Service, all costs are paid by the American taxpayers.

Most of these trips involved traveling directly from the White House and Delaware. Since taking office, Biden has taken 101 flights between either the Joint Base Andrews or the White House to Delaware. 71 of these flights have used Marine One, and 30 using Air Force One.

As per Department of Defense comptroller public records, Marine One helicopters used by Biden cost between $17,065 and $20,206 per hour to operate. It takes just over an hour to travel to Delaware from the White House, as per the president’s schedule.

Meanwhile, the Air Force One jet costs $177,843 per hour to operate and it takes just over 30 minutes to travel from the Joint Air Force Base to Delaware. This makes the total operational costs for Biden’s trip around $4 million.

Documents obtained by The New York Post revealed that last year, a Secret Service security detail cost $1.96 million from Biden’s first 16 trips to his home state. A per-trip estimated cost from this data for Biden’s 57 trips cost around $7 million for the American taxpayers.

The total $11 million bill for Biden’s Delaware trip is a very conservative estimate, and leaves out several additional costs, including additional helicopters that escort the marine one, travel to and from military airports, before and after the Air Force flights, and other costs for his staff and aides.

This is not the first time that Joe Biden’s frequent travels are costing a fortune to the taxpayers. As a U.S. Senator from 1973 to 2009, Biden frequently used Amtrak to travel to and from Delaware, every day that the Senate was in session, which earned him the nickname “Amtrak Joe” all these trips were also funded by the U.S. taxpayers.

The liberal media industrial complex was eager to criticize former President Trump, for his trips to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, and his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey.

But data shows that Biden travels more often than President Trump, yet faces no criticism from the liberal media.

Biden’s travel to his private residence is also very unusual from his predecessors. He often leaves the White House for Delaware on Thursdays, works from his private residence on Fridays, stays there over the weekend, and often departs from Delaware on Monday mornings, compared to previous presidents who traveled mostly on Sunday evenings.
