The HuffPost posted a defamatory article on Thursday targeting Georgia Republican Congresswoman, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, alleging that the Republican lawmaker is “encouraging” her supporters to shoot Democrats.

The article that still remains up, with a slightly altered headline than the original post, was taken out of context, a video that Rep. Greene posted on her social media and it referred to Democrat politicians and feral hogs eating up crops.

“We’ve got skyrocketing inflation, high diesel fuel [prices] and Democrats’ America-last policies,” Greene said in this ad, standing in front of a helicopter.

Rep. MTG also noted that those policies weren’t the only aspects affecting beleaguered farmers. Feral hogs have also been a major issue impacting many fields in America.

Rep. MTG was promoting a contest where viewers could win a hog-hunting trip with her that was taken out of context by the reporters at the Huffington Post.

“Let’s help American farmers out,” Greene said in this video.

At no point in the video, did Rep. MTG compare the hogs with Democrats, or encourage anyone to “shoot” Democrats as the article alleges.

“I demand you change this headline and your lies about me immediately,” the congresswoman wrote in response to this article.

“Your freedom of press is not freedom to lie about me,” she said. “I NEVER said anything like this and did NOT call for violence on Democrats.”

“Lee Moran, your political activist posing as a journalist writing for your hard left political blog, should be fired immediately for such a lie,” she continued.

“Your editor should be fired for using his position to green light such atrocious lies and character assassinations against me,” the response continued.

Greene also expressed her frustrations with media outlets smearing Republicans every day saying she’s “fed up with the political hacks in the media who lie about Republicans every single day.”

“You don’t get to lie about me and many of my colleagues calling us Nazis, fascists, and any other nasty label you type up and get away with it,” she added to her response.

“Responsible honest journalism is badly missing in this country,” the congresswoman noted. “It’s a worthy profession and those that pursue it with honesty and integrity are truly the best.”
